Delivery Policy


  1. Introduction

1.1    In this policy we set out details of the delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to orders for our products made through our website ( or by telephone or email.

1.2    This policy is a legally binding document, and this policy shall form part of the contract of sale between you and us made under our terms and conditions of sale.

  1. Free delivery

2.1    All other orders will be subject to delivery charges as detailed in Section 5, however orders will be delivered free of charge if the delivery address is located in Guernsey – not including Alderney, Herm or Sark.

  1. Geographical limitations

3.1    We will deliver our goods worldwide.

3.2    We may from time to time use our discretion and refuse delivery to certain Countries.

  1. Delivery methods and periods

4.1    The methods that we use to deliver our products, and the time periods within which delivery is usually completed, are as follows:

(a)  Our UK, Channel Island and Isle of Man Standard postage rates are calculated at Checkout and are based on the weight and size of your Stylist’s Own® order as well as your location. Please allow up to 72 Hours for delivery, although some locations will take longer – such as the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Standard Stylist’s Own® Delivery – UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man:

Packet up to 500g – £3.95 / £4.95 signed for – signature required on delivery at destination address.

Packet up to 1000g – £5.50 / £6.50 signed for – signature required on delivery at destination address.

Packet over 1000g – £8.50 / £9.50 signed for – signature required on delivery at destination address.

Parcel up to 2000g – £9.75 / £12.25 (Insurance up to £250.00) / £14.75 (Insurance up to £500.00)

Parcel up to 5000g – £12.50 / £14.90 (Insurance up to £250.00) / £17.40 (Insurance up to £500.00)

Parcel up to 10000g – £15.50 / £18.00 (Insurance up to £250.00) / £20.50 (Insurance up to £500.00)

Parcels over 10000g – please contact Stylist’s Own® before making an order so that we can discuss the best option for you.

(b) Guernsey Residents: If you are based here in Guernsey all Stylist’s Own® orders will be delivered for free and we aim to deliver within one working day. Just let us know at Checkout and we will contact you to arrange for your delivery once we have received full payment. Unfortunately we do not deliver at weekends or on public holidays.

(c)     All International Stylist’s Own® orders are very welcome and will be shipped using either Global Priority Parcel Service(GPPS). All rates are calculated at Checkout and are dependent on weight and size. We currently fulfil orders to the following countries although we do retain the right to use our discretion if necessary.

Zone 5: Republic of Ireland – GPPS from £25.00
Zone 6: Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg – GPPS from £35.00
Zone 7: France, Denmark, Germany – GPPS from £37.00
Zone 8: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece – GPPS from £40.00
Zone 9: Rest of Europe – GPPS from £36.00
Zone 10: USA, Canada – GPPS from £47.00
Zone 11: Far East, Australia – GPPS from £59.00
Zone 12: Rest of World – GPPS from £63.00

Please allow for 1 to 3 working weeks for delivery of your order.

PLEASE NOTE that you may have to pay local import duties or a formal customs entry charge prior to your order being delivered. We suggest that you refer to your local legislation if you are unsure.Stylist’s Own® cannot be held responsible for such charges. Please include a local telephone number with your order so that you can be contacted if needs be.

VAT: All prices are shown exclusive of UK sales tax (VAT), currently charged at 20%. If we are delivering to a Channel Islands address the VAT will not be added at Checkout. If we are delivering to a UK address the VAT will be added at the Checkout.

Here at Stylist’s Own® we pre pay all our VAT charges when we dispatch to the UK.

4.2    If you place your order by 2pm GMT/BST on a working day, these time periods run from the close of business on that day; if you place your order after 2pm GMT/BST on a working day, or on a non-working day, these time periods run from the close of business on the next following working day.

4.3    The delivery periods set out in this Section 4 are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.

4.4    We may conduct fraud screening checks before dispatching the product, and these checks may delay your delivery. If the delivery is likely to be delayed as a result of fraud screening checks, we will notify you.

  1. Delivery charges

5.1    Delivery charges will be calculated by our website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process, or alternatively quoted by us.

5.2    Applicable delivery charges will depend upon the delivery method you select, the location of the delivery address, and the size and weight of the products in your order.

5.3    Our delivery charges are outlined in section 4.

  1. Delivery tracking

6.1    Delivery tracking is outlined below:

(a)     Standard Stylist’s Own® Delivery – UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man (Packets and Parcels) – No Tracking service.

(b)     Special Stylist’s Own® Delivery – UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man (Packets and Parcels) – Tracking service available. – please note currently unavailable, although we will be adding this in the future.

(c)     International Stylist’s Own® Delivery – Global Priority Parcel Service – Tracking Service available.

6.2    To track your delivery, enter [your order number (which is provided in your order confirmation email)] into our delivery service provider’s website here:

  1. Receipt and signature

7.1    Some deliveries must be received in person at the delivery address, and a signature must be provided dependent on the delivery service you decide upon.

7.2    Our delivery service provider may notify you in advance of attempting to make a delivery requiring signature.

  1. Additional deliveries

8.1    If an initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our delivery service provider may make at least 1 more attempt to deliver the products in your order.

  1. Collection

9.1    If your products remain undelivered despite our delivery service provider making at least 1 more attempt to deliver them, the delivery service provider will leave a card at your address, with instructions on how you may collect your products, including a time limit for collection.

  1. Delivery problems

10.1  If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact us using the contact details that we publish on our website or otherwise notify to you.

10.2  If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the relevant time limit, we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products; however, we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was free of charge).

10.3  An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:

(a)    you provided the wrong address for delivery;

(b)    there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;

(c)    the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;

(d)    the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;

(e)    if in-person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; or

(f)    if in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.

11.      Lost Goods

11.1    In the extremely unlikely event that your order gets lost, please contact Stylist’s Own® as soon as you can with full details of your order. From that point one of our team will be in contact with you as soon as they can.
